<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a toner giving a sharp image, having improved low-temp. fixability and anti-offsetting property, not causing fogging even in use over a long period of time and having stable electrostatic chargeability. CONSTITUTION: In this toner formed from a compsn. contg. at least a polymer and a colorant, the polymer has a low mol.wt. component and a high mol.wt. component. The ratio of the acid value of the low mol.wt. component in a mol.wt. region of <5.0×10<4> in gel permeation chromatogram to the total acid value is <0.6 and the acid value is >=1mgKOH/g. The ratio of the acid value of the high mol.wt. component in a mol.wt. region of >=5.0×10<4> in gel permeation chromatogram to the total acid value is >=0.6 and the acid value is >=1 mgKOH/g.</p> |
