TONER FOR DEVELOPING ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE

PURPOSE: To form a high grade image and to highly satisfy preservability, fixability and anti-offsetting property while maintaining high developing performance. CONSTITUTION: In this toner contg. a bonding resin and an electric charge controlling agent, the bonding resin has a high mol.wt. component and a low mol.wt. component. The glass transition temp. of the high mol.wt. component is higher than that of the low mol.wt. component by 5-15 deg.C, the wt. average mol.wt. (Mw) of the high mol.wt. component is 700,000-1,300,000 and the ratio of the wt. average mol.wt. (Mw) to the number average mol.wt. (Mn) is <=4.5. The Z average mol.wt. (Mz) of the high mol.wt. component is 1,000,00-10,000,000 and the MI is practically zero. The Mw of the low mol.wt. component is 4,000-15,000, the ratio of the Mw to the Mn is <=4.0, the Mz is 6,000-25,000 and the MI is >=100. The Mw of the bonding resin is 150,000-300,000, the ratio of the Mw to the Mn is 35-65, the Mz is 1,000,000-10,000,000, the MI is 5-20 and the softening point is 145-165 deg.C.
