PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for fermenting treatment, having a simple structure and capable of efficiently carrying out the fermenting treatment. CONSTITUTION: This cylindrical apparatus for fermenting treatment is obtained by desirably installing a tilted member 7 in the upper part of the vessel bottom of a fermenter in the apparatus for the fermenting treatment having the cylindrical (preferably vertical cross-sectional rectangular) fermenter 2, a revolving unit 5 arranged along the inner peripheral wall of the fermenter 2, raw material stirring units 6 provided on the inside of the revolving unit 5 and a revolution driving unit 4 for revolving the revolving unit 5 together with the stirring units 6. Thereby, the apparatus can be constituted of a simple structure and the raw material can uniformly be stirred to smoothly carry out the fermenting treatment.
