PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knitting method enabling continuous knitting through reconstructing the knit pattern of a three-dimensional knitted fabric cover for vehicle seats to a pattern with a small bias angle. SOLUTION: The subject knit pattern of a three-dimensional knitted fabric cover intended for vehicle seats and having at least two plane substantially orthogonal to each other is such one that, edges 33, 34 and 35, 36 respectively associated with a pair of points 31, 32 lying apart from each other and situated on the left side edge along a needle line B or just close thereto are extended in directions respectively running apart from the points 31, 32, the edges 33, 35 being turned substantially toward a stitch lateral row direction, while the other edges 34, 36 extending at a bias angle of 45 deg. with the stitch lateral row direction; furthermore, the edges 33, 35 are crossed with edges 37, 38 parallel with the edges 34, 36 and biased at a 2nd angle of 45 deg., respectively; the right side edge is also be appropriately adjusted through edges 45, 47 and 46, 48 in a similar way, thereby reconstructing the objective knit pattern. Based on this knit pattern thus reconstructed, the other objective three-dimensional knitted fabric cover is knitted continuously. |
