PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition suitable for producing a large-size part by blow molding, excellent in heat resistance and capable of properly holding a parison during molding by mixing a rubbery polymer with a vinyl cyanide compound and an aromatic vinyl compound and specifying the amount of the rubbery polymer and the content of the acetone extractibles. CONSTITUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition comprises a copolymer prepared by grafting a vinyl cyanide compound, an aromatic vinyl compound and optionally a maleimide compound of the formula onto a rubbery polymer, an aromatic vinyl/maleimide or aromatic vinyl/vinyl cyanide/maleimide copolymer containing units of the maleimide compound of the formula and a copolymer entirely consisting of a vinyl cyanide compound and an aromatic vinyl compound, wherein the rubbery polymer accounts for 10-30wt.% of the composition, the maleimide units account for 5-25wt.% of the composition, and the reduced viscosity (ηsp /c) of the component obtained by extracting this composition with acetone is 0.4-1.0. In the formula, R is H, 1-18C alkyl, phenyl or nucleus-substituted phenyl; and - is a polymer chain.
