INSULATION BLOCK AND FORMING METHOD

PURPOSE: To prevent a gap between an electrode member and an insulation block, by providing a main tube-shaped insulation block with the tube-shaped electrode members buried coaxially, and covering a face of the electrode member fitted to the main insulation block with a semi-conductive layer previously. CONSTITUTION: An insulation block 10 is made of non-crosslinking or semi- crosslinking insulation material and includes a main tube-shaped insulation block 12. A tube-shaped electrode member 16 is buried coaxially in an inner hole of the main insulation block 12. The electrode member 16 is covered tightly with a semiconductive layer 18 made of semiconductive crosslinking resin. A tube-shaped hook part 22 for fixing each one end of the pair of tube-shaped contactors 20 is projected inside the electrode member 16. The tube-shaped contactor 20 has a plurality of contact members 24 and an annular coil spring 26 for connecting the contactors in a shape like a tube. The semiconductive layer 18 is provided between the electrode member 16 and the main insulation body 12 to join these members 12 and 16. In this way, a gap between the electrode member 16 and the main insulation block 12 can be eliminated.
