PURPOSE: To reduce frequent releasing of automatic speed control by decreasing the moving speed of a moving body through an acceleration/deceleration means when the moving speed to be detected by a speed detecting means exceeds the speed indicated by the target speed information. CONSTITUTION: An information generating means on a moving body generates the geographic information of a moving body's course, and a target speed setting means 101 forms the target speed information indicating the lower speed as the displacement is larger in relation to the geographic displacement the moving body forward course on the basis of the speed information stored in the information and memory means 101. When the moving speed to be detected by a speed detecting means exceeds the speed indicated by the target speed information, the speed control means 101 decreases the moving speed of the moving body through acceleration/deceleration means (11, 12, 50), on the other hand, when the speed indicated by the target speed information exceeds the moving speed, the speed control means increases the speed. |
