<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a human-body detection apparatus by which only a human body is detected clearly and by which the position of the human body can be detected by a method wherein the inclination of an output voltage by an infrared detection beam is detected and the existence of the human body is detected. CONSTITUTION: A condensing part 3 is moved back and forth or turned and moved by a stepping motor 7, an infrared detection region 4 in a prescribed range is scanned by an infrared detection means 6, and an infrared amount which is changed every moment due to a movement by a scanning operation is captured by an infrared sensor 1. Then, when the infrared amount is increased, a signal having an inclination of '+' is output via an amplifier 5, and, when the infrared amount is decreased, a signal having an inclination of '-' is output in the same manner. When a human being is captured within the region 4, the infrared amount which is incident on the sensor 1 is increased, and the signal having the inclination of '+' is output. Out of the inclinations, a part (a maximum inclination part) whose inclination is largest as compared with a change in the front part and the rear part is estimated to have captured the human body.</p> |
