<p>PURPOSE: To make it possible to eliminate smears and to display a bright display with a high grade and high color reproducibility by disposing additive capacitance electrodes between display regions and drain drivers. CONSTITUTION: This display device is provided with additive capacitors by dividing these capacitors to a plurality between the display region 28 where many display pixels exist in a matrix form and the drain drivers 24 for inputting video signals to the display pixels. Namely, the drain lines 26 intersect with the additive capacitance electrodes 7 between the drain drivers 24 and the display regions 28. The drain lines 26 are connected to TFTs as display driving elements and are connected to the drain drivers. The drain lines 26 are electrically connected to polycrystalline silicon films of the lower layer in contact holes 10. The additive capacitance electrodes 7 are composed of divided plural rectangular strip-like electrodes to prevent the crack and, therefore, tungsten silicide is usable.</p> |
