PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain blanking of a video signal and a key signal in the case that a pixel appears at a position behind a visual point by converting the video signal and the key signal relating to the video signal spatially. SOLUTION: A depth signal generating means 18 generates a depth signal denoting a depth value of each pixel of a video scene. A video signal conversion means 34 converts the video signal spatially with the depth signal so as to correspond a depth of each pixel to the depth signal of a scene representing the video signal, and a key signal conversion means 36 converts the key signal relating to the video signal spatially with the depth signal. In the case that the depth represented by the depth signal is behind the visual point, a signal generating means 86 generates a clip signal to supply it to the video signal conversion means 34 and the key signal conversion means 36. Then in the case that the signal generating means 86 generates the clip signal, the video signal conversion means 34 blanks the spatially converted video signal and the key signal conversion means 36 blanks the spatially converted key signal. |
