FIELD: transport; passive safety means. SUBSTANCE: seat belt buckle has locking tongue inserted into body, body with paired plates interconnected by tie secured on vehicle body and spring-loaded three-teeth latch. Extreme teeth of latch are fitted in plate holes square to their plane. With buckle closed, central tooth of latch is arranged in hole of locking tongue exposed to action of spring-loaded pusher. Buckle release member is made in the form of slider whose end face wall serves as pressure surface, and side walls have internal longitudinal slots to provide movement of slider in paired plates. Thanks to the fact that release member has wedge lugs with inclined and straight-line sections at side of locking tongue and longitudinal shanks at opposite side whose portions are arranged on inner surface of member, possibility is provided to smoothly bring latch teeth out of engagement and to reliably lock side surface of latch with buckle in closed and released positions. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of seat belt in service, prevention of spontaneous release of buckle; simplified design and decreased overall dimensions of buckle. 7 cl, 5 dwg |
