Formation of controlled distribution, fibre-reinforced plastic sections

This procedure makes plastic sections, esp. high strength profiles with fibre reinforcement. In this original process, the fibre particles are brought into an optimal location before the fluid- or atomised mixture (1) is set. Fibre transport and concentration in the fluid plastic, is effected by moving electromagnetic or electrostatic fields, in a manner analogous to the action of a linear motor. Pref. the field is so controlled, arranged and moved, that the fluid plastic/fibre mixture (1) forms a hollow body before hardening, aided by the adhesion between fibres and plastic. Transport of the mixture (1) is effected or assisted by the moving field.
