FIELD: ventilation, heating and air conditioning systems of motor vehicles. SUBSTANCE: air intake located in engine compartment 2 is made as integral unit and it consists of two parts (upper and lower) and installed in it are ventilation setup, water separator 5, air cleaning filter 6. It is hermetically coupled with inlet passage of vehicle air conditioning outfit and recirculation passage through an opening in vehicle instrument board. Rate of air delivery into ventilation outfit from atmosphere or from vehicle inside is regulated by means of gate valve having at least two operating positions. Water separator 5 has water deflecting lip 7 located in upper part of separator, water collecting vessel 8 and water outlet valve 9 located lowermost part of air intake housing.
