FIELD: medicine, particular, investigations of functional state of lungs, respiratory muscles; applicable in phthisiology, pulmonology, pediatrics, surgery, neurology and rehabilitation of patients. SUBSTANCE: method for determination of function of external respiration of lungs and respiratory system includes contactless, under common conditions, measurement of respiratory motions in electromagnetic field and recording them by a system of transducers. Obtained results are presented in forms of (a) graphs of respiratory cycle at the level of upper middle and lower parts of lungs; (b) projection of diaphragm and front abdominal wall; (c) spirometric curves, in their digital expression, with calculation of actual, proper, values and their percentage ratio; (d) in form of static and dynamic cards of motions of chest with extrapolation of lungs, characterizing the work of both lungs and each lung separately. The offered method is atraumatic, of high information content, excluding contamination with injection, nonloading for the examined persons, short in duration, easily reproduciable, highly sensitive. One the basis of data obtained, evaluation criteria are established of functional state of respiratory system. EFFECT: elimination of drawbacks of the known methods of investigation of function of lungs and respiratory system, high information content, revealing of functional reserves of ventilation of both lungs and each lung separately. |
