MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR BRAZING

PURPOSE: To provide a brazing material and a brazing method capable of greatly dropping the brazing temperature, and capable of realizing the high strength of a part to be joined. CONSTITUTION: The ultra-fine particle metal (e.g. the ultra-fine silver powder of <50nm in grain size) is added to the mixture of the metal or alloy powder of the brazing material and the flux, and mixed together. It is preferable to add the mixture of the binder to the ultra-fine particle metal. The amount of the ultra-fine particle metal to be added is preferably 1-50 pts.wt. to the metal or alloy powder of the brazing filler metal of 100 pts.wt. The ultra-fine particle metal may be micro-capsuled. The brazing filler metal is fed between stocks to be joined made of metal, alloy or ceramics to achieve the brazing by the heating at 600-150 deg.C.
