PRODUCTION OF FIBRILLATED FIBER

摘要

PURPOSE: To develop a natural fiberlike touch feeling from microfibrils produced after splitting by fibrillating a filament yarn according to a simple method. CONSTITUTION: This method for producing microfibrillated fibers is to develop microfibrils by dissolution treatment of a multifilament yarn satisfying the following conditional expressions when the number of layers constituting the cross section of a filament is not all the same among respective filaments and the number of filaments having >=32 plies is (a); that of filaments having >=8 and <32 plies is (b); that of filaments having >=2 and <8 plies is (c); that of filaments having 1 ply is (d); the respective single filament denier of each group before the dissolution treatment is Da , Db , Dc or Dd ; the total denier of the multifilament yarn before the dissolution treatment is L: 0.1<=(a).Da <=0.5; 0<=(b).Db <=0.2, 0<=(c).Dc <=0.2; 0.3<=(d).Dd <=0.5.
