PURPOSE: To form solid lubricating films on rolling surfaces of a rollers, an inner ring and an outer ring in the atmosphere by a simple device. CONSTITUTION: A temporary assembling bearing 1 is constituted of an inner ring 1a, an outer ring 1b and rollers 1c inserted between rolling surfaces of the inner and outer races. The ends of ring materials 4 made of self-lubricating materials are inserted into annular clearances between the inner race and the outer race on both sides of the temporary bearing 1. The end surface of the ring materials 4 are brought in contact with the rollers 1c, the ring materials 4 are rotated and moved while being pressed, and therefore, solid lubricant for the ring materials is transferred to the rolling surfaces of the inner race 1a and the outer race 1b through the rollers 1c, and lubricating films are formed. |
