PURPOSE: To produce a heat conductive composite material having function for freely varying the coefficient of thermal expansion and thermal conductivity in which the bonding strength is enhanced significantly without sacrifice of bondability to a counterpart material or excellent surface properties, delamination does not take place even if the material is subjected to intricate pressing, cutting or bending work and no plating liquid is left after plating process. CONSTITUTION: A high thermal conductivity metal plate 1 is provided, on the opposite sides thereof, with brazing material layers 2, 3 and subjected to cold press along with low thermal expansion metal plates 4, 5 having many through holes 6. When the high thermal conductivity metal is exposed to the surface of the low thermal expansion metal plates 4, 5 and integrated and then subjected to annealing to form a diffusion layer 7 of brazing material on both metals, the bonding strength can be enhanced significantly thus realizing a heat conductive composite material in which delamination does not take place even if the material is subjected to intricate pressing, cutting or bending work. |
