PURPOSE: To provide a hair cutter which enables a user to guide hair into a direction to cut hair better and to see the cutting position easily. CONSTITUTION: The blade of a main body 2 and a contact faces 4b and 5b of first and second hair holding members 4 and 5 are respectively tilted to the guiding direction (A) for hair, and the tilting directions of contact faces 4b and 5b of the hair holding members 4 and 5 are set in the opposite direction to the tilting direction of the blase of the main body 2. In a condition that hair is guided into between the contact faces 4b and 5b and hair is held between the contact faces 4b and 5b, the angleθof the blade to hair becomes larger and the angleθ1 of the blade to the guiding direction (A) for hair becomes smaller.
