FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: purpose of invention is to create automatic gearbox in which manual gear-shifting is brought to minimum: neutral, reverse, direct drive. Increase and decrease in gearbox output shaft speed is provided by automatic change-over of crown spring friction clutches. Automatic gearbox with inertia crown spring friction clutches is easy to operate, simple in manufacture and provides smooth shafting of gears in direct drive. EFFECT: increased economy of engine unit, reduced consumption of lubricants. |
