The method is provided for supplying the subscriber call switching service in a communication network exchange system, and the device therefor includes an ASS (access switching subsystem) processing a subscriber, an INS (interconnection network subsystem) managing a message communication between an ASS/CCS and an ASS, and a CCS(central control subsystem) managing /testing /measuring a system and totally managing/defending various I/O device controls, a connecting data channel with other system and etc, in order to realize a digital subscriber call switching function without modifying the existing network, enhances the modularity of a system and can be easily applied on all the exchange system satisfying an N-ISDN subscriber-network signalling method.
