PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating type rice cooker capable of almost uniformly and effectively heating the side surface of a pan with a body heater. SOLUTION: An inner frame 3 in which the pan 12 is housed is formed with a material with superior heat conductivity, and a heating type body heater 18 whose outer periphery is electrically insulated is wound across the side part of the inner frame 3 in plural columns in the circumferential direction of the inner frame 3, and an induction coil 6 which induction-heats the pan 12 is provided on the bottom of the inner frame 3, and an insulating plate 5 provided with electrical insulation is provided on the induction coil 6.
