PURPOSE: To always properly control the distribution of a braking force by calculating a correction factor responsive to the difference between a setting wheel diameter and an actual wheel diameter based on a ratio of the rotation speed of the front wheel to that of the rear wheel and, when the variation range of the correction factor is larger than the setting value, by prohibiting calculating the control amount based on the results obtained by comparing the speed of the front wheel with that of the rear wheel. CONSTITUTION: The device has control amount calculating means 171 , 172 for calculating the control amount of braking pressure adjusting means 41 >=,42 based on the results obtained by the comparison of the speed of the front wheel and that of the rear wheel which are obtained by the speed calculation means of the front wheel and the rear wheel 121 , 124d2; 131 , 132 , and also has correction factor calculating means 141 , 142 for calculating a correction factor responsive to the difference between a setting wheel diameter and an actual wheel diameter based on a ratio of the rotation speed of the front wheel to that of the rear wheel. It is judged in control judging means 161 , 162 that the variation range of a calculated correction factor is larger than a setting value or not and when the variation range is larger than the setting value, a signal for prohibiting the control amount calculating means 171 , 172 from calculating the control amount based on the results obtained by comparing the speed of the front wheel with that of the rear wheel is output.
