The suspension is for a compressor attached to a unit carrier (2) on a vehicle (1). It has a bearing body (3) whose longitudinal axis is attached to the vehicle so that it extends in the direction of the unit's gravity force. A compression spring (8) is arranged so that the spring force on both sides of it compacts it along the axis. There is a stop surface (7) on the bearing body which is against one side of the spring. The other side of the spring is against a bearer (9).
