PURPOSE: To improve reception sensitivity by changing threshold voltage at the time of judging a bit in accordance with transmitting speed information on a received multilevel FSK signal on the multilevel FSK receiver of digital radio communication. CONSTITUTION: In a bit judgment means 102, a threshold setting means 105 sets threshold voltage in accordance with transmitting speed information extracted by a transmitting speed information extraction means 104 and supplies it to the bit judgment means 102 at the time of judging the demodulation output of the multilevel FSK signal 100 outputted from a demodulation means 101. Thus, an optimum bit judgment threshold corresponding to the transmitting speed of the multilevel FSK signal can be set and reception sensitivity at respective transmitting speeds improves.
