PURPOSE: To automatically supply bacteria for decomposing waste refuse. CONSTITUTION: Waste refuse is charged in a waste refuse housing part 1 to be ground by the blades 7 of a rotary body 6. The ground waste refuse is decomposed to carbon dioxide, water or the like by bacteria in a decomposition tank 2. A detection part 33 is attached to the decomposition tank 2 to detect heat of fermentation, carbon dioxide or steam generated when the waste refuse is decomposed by bacteria and a point of time when the detection value becomes a predetermined value or less is judged to be the supply period of bacteria to open a valve 31 only for a definite time and a predetermined amt. of powdery bacteria packed in a bacteria supply pipe is charged in the decomposition tank 2. Since bacteria are automatically supplied as mentioned above, maintenance labor can be reduced and the waste refuse can be certainly decomposed. |
