<p>PURPOSE: To easily and reliably install a base on a light emitting tube by fitting an engaging part formed on a cylindrical base and an engaging part formed in a collapsing sealing part, and fixing these fitting parts together by filling a heat resistant adhesive in the light emitting tube of a small metallic vapor discharge lamp. CONSTITUTION: In a light emitting tube 1 having no outer tube of a small metallic vapor discharge lamp having a reflecting mirror, after a projecting part 22 formed on a cylindrical base 21 is installed so as to be fitted to a recessed part 23 formed on a side surface 3a of a flat-shaped collapsing sealing part 3 of the light emitting tube 1, it is fixed by a heat resistant adhesive. Therefore, even if adhesive strength of the adhesive is reduced, since reduction in bonding power of the base 21 and the sealing part 3 is small, disloaction between both can be reduced.</p> |
