摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To realize a wide visual angle similar to time division drive and to obtain a display without a flicker regardless of using no frame memory by providing a resistor in parallel to a holding capacitor and gradually discharging a written signal charge. CONSTITUTION: G (gate) wiring 1 and D (drain) wiring 2 are connected to respective gate, drain of a TFT(thin film transistor) 4, and an LC(liquid crystal) 5 is connected to the source of the TFT 4 and a common electrode, and an SC (protective capacitor) 6 and an R (resistor) 7 are connected to the source electrode of the TFT 4 similarly to the LC 5 in one sides, and the other sides are connected to the common electrode out of a pixel through the SC wiring 3. Thus, a liquid crystal molecule is changed in the direction of the molecule according to the voltage, and since its changing period is short such as one frame, it is not discriminated by a human eye, and is recognized as intermediate brightness, and since the directional component of the liquid crystal molecule is spread, a visual angle characteristic is uniformized.</p>
