This invention provides a network amplifying apparatus for CATV upward system which can more stably prevent people from watching CATV illegally. In the integrated cable television system in which when a subscriber sends a converter identification (ID) number along with a desired CATV program to a broadcasting station by using a converter, the station collects fees from the subscriber corresponding to the converter ID number contained in the received upward information and permits the watching, the network amplifying apparatus includes a node ID number adding means that lets the broadcasting station confirm if the converter is used in an area where the converter is legally provided by transmitting the upward information from the subscriber's converter connected to the network amplifier with a node ID number to the station.
