The drive system sets the level of laser beam and the time for one period radiation to operate the needle to stimulate acupoints for diagnosing or treating the body and displaying visually and auditorily the operation of the needle. The system includes : a label setting unit for setting the level of the laser beam as 1st setting data to be strong enough to stimulate the acupoints ; a second-unit time setting unit for one period radiation of the beam as 2nd setting data ; a minute-unit time setting unit for setting the operational time of the needle as the third setting data ; control for controlling the beam level and the times for radiation and operation by the set data received ; a control switch to operate the laser needle on-off ; a display unit for indication the operation state in numbers.
