摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the engagement force of a lockup clutch so as to enable the actual speed ratio of a torque converter to quickly and precisely follow up a target speed ratio established depending on the drive mode of a vehicle. SOLUTION: Target engine torque Tem and target pump torque TPm are calculated on the basis of a target speed ratio em established depending on the drive mode of a vehicle and, then, the target pump torque TPm is subtracted from the target engine torque Tem. thereby calculating target lockup torque TLCm. Thereafter, basic linear solenoid output pressure Qbase for causing a lockup clutch to generate the target lockup torque TLCm is used as a feedforward term. and a feedback term calculated on the basis of a deviation de between an actual speed ratio (e) and the target speed ratio em is added thereto. Then, the engagement force of the lockup clutch is controlled on the basis of linear solenoid output pressure Qout obtainable from the addition.
