PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an thromboxane A2 production inhibitor which has the action of inhibiting the thromboxane A2 production and is useful in prevention and therapy for thrombosis, stenocardia, bronchial asthma. SOLUTION: This agent contains, as an active ingredient, a dihydropyridine derivative shown by the formula (R1 , R2 and R3 are each an alkyl, a cycloalkyl, an alkoxyalkyl; R4 and R5 are each H, a halogen, nitro, an alkoxy, cyano; X is vinylene, azomethine; A is an alkylene; B is -N(R6 )(R7 ); R6 and R7 are each H, an alkyl, an aryl) or its acid adduct, typically 2-[p-(4- benzhydrilpiperazino)phenyl]ethyl-methyl-2,6-dimethyl-4-(3-nitrophenyl )-1,4- dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarboxylate. The dose is orally 0.1-100mg/day/adult and intravascularly 0.1-300μg/day/adult.
