PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an observation apparatus by which a camera is suspended down to the bottom part of a storage tank so as to observe the inside of a liquid by a method wherein a transparent window part and a directional illumination lamp are installed at the trunk part of a circling device which is suspended inside the storage tank. SOLUTION: An ITV-camera heat insulating box 12 is attached, so as to be tiltable to the up-and-down direction, to the lower end part of a circling device 11 which is suspended inside flammbalegas storage tanks 1 to 3. A transparent window part 18 is formed in a part which agrees with the observation direction of an ITV camera 31 at the trunk part of the circling device 11 which is circled in the horizontal direction, and directional illumination lamps 21 which illuminate only the observation direction are installed inside the window part. The illumination lamps 21 are tilted to the up-and-down direction by tilting mechanisms 24 to 30 in synchronization with the heat insulating box 12. Thereby, since the inside of the storage tanks 1 to 3 can be always illuminated and observed as a whole, it is not required to insert a camera and an illumination device separately, and the inside of a liquid can be observed even in the storage tanks 1 to 3 which have only one nozzle (an opening part). In addition, since it is not required to illuminate all directrons, it is not required to install the transparent window part 18 on the whole circumference, an observation apparatus is resistant to a moment when it is tilted. |
