PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system by which an indoor atmosphere is felt similarly to an outdoor atmosphere by adjusting a light amount, which is radiated from a light radiation portion, a light source portion, or a light reflection portion, is directly irradiated in the line of sight of an resident, and heighten the impression of the brightness inside a room, according to natural changing characteristics corresponding to sunbeams through leaves. SOLUTION: Second light radiative portion 4 radiates light from a light source portion 1 approximately downward, the light is irradiated in the line of sight of a resident inside a room, and the impression of the brightness inside the room is heightened, while a light amount adjusting portion 5 changes the filter transmittance of a liquid crystal according to fluctuation having a spectrum inversely proportional to a frequency (f) against the light amount radiated from the second light radiative portion 4. Thereby, the light amount radiated from the second light radiative portion 4 changes similarly to the brightness change of natural sunbeams through leaves, so that the light radiated from the light radiative portion 4 is felt similarly to the light of the sunbeams through leaves, and the impression of the indoor atmosphere is felt natural similarly to the impression of the outdoor atmosphere. |
