The system is for waste vapour near the outside surface of aircraft, land vehicles and ships, particularly those using cryogenic fuel. One or more outlets (4-7) are at the top of components at the top ends of streamlined pylons (8-11), and in the path of the free and undisturbed air flow. These discharge jets (12-15) rearwards or rearwards and upwards and/or partly sideways, thus keeping them free from hot exhaust jets (38-40), air inlets and other possible ignition sources, also from component surfaces. One of the outlets can be at the top of the rudder (22), and others at the forward end of the fuselage, forming two jets at opposite sides of the rudder.
