Coded data transmission system esp. for plesiochronous signals

The system includes a reception module with a clock recovery device and a data synchroniser. A system clock is generated and a transcoder performs conversion of the transmission code to binary code and vice versa. Communication devices contain a discrimination system which ignores input of data where the width of the pulse has a duration less than a predetermined period for the system. The communication devices each include a modulo counter and a monostable device which are controlled by the system clock. The modulo counter is controlled by a return to zero command when data are present at the input of the receiver unit. The monostable device is provided with a return to zero command at the end of the modulo counter cycle or on the presence of data at the input. The monostable device defines the nominal duration of the stable state of the regenerated clock signal.
