<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent resticking and to discriminate a forged hologram caused by a dead copy by incorporating a phosphor into a specified layer. SOLUTION: This brittle hologram seal 1 consists of a support layer 2, a hologram forming layer 3 with a hologram pattern, a reflective thin film layer 4, a 1st brittle peelable layer 5 partially coating the layer 4 and an adhesive layer 6 or further has a printing layer on the support layer 2 or between two adjacent layers if necessary and contains a phosphor in one of the layers. The support layer 2 supports the other layers at the time of production and can act as a protective layer at the time of use because it becomes the outermost layer. A film of a transparent resin such as vinyl chloride resin or polyester resin is used as the support layer 2. A transparent phosphor such as Ce which is excited by UV and has the peak of a fluorescence spectrum emitted at the time of return to a lower energy level in a blue, green or red wavelength region is, e.g. mixed with the resin forming the support layer 2. Forgery can be discriminated by irradiating the seal with UV and checking the emission of fluorescence.</p> |
