PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker for cooking by electromagnetic heating by which broil cooking such as roast meat can be performed by mild heat such as charcoal roasting and even after the switch is turned off, heat retaining properties are kept for a long time. SOLUTION: A cooker 3 for cooking by electromagnetic heating in which a vessel 2 made of a carbon compressed body being brought into contact with a high frequency magnetic field generator 5 in a casing 4 is provided. It may also be constituted as a cooker for cooking by electromagnetic heating consisting of a carbon compressed molded vessel.
