<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust and rainwater from entering and make the cover look better in appearance by forming Y-shaped cable housing grooves in sealing packings housed in a lower and an upper cover and dividing a four-core cable into two-core cables in the grooves and then connecting the two-core cables to a protector and a telephone respectively. SOLUTION: Sealing packings 17, 20 are housed in a lower cover 1 and an upper cover 9 respectively. With the upper cover 9 being open, a four-core cable 25 is divided into two-core cables 26, 26a. Then, the four-core cable 25 and the divided two-core cables 26, 26a are housed in a four-core cable insertion groove 18 and a Y-shaped two-core cable divided groove 19, 19a in the sealing packing for a lower cover 17 respectively. After that, the upper cover 9 is closed and hooks 8, 8a of holding claws 7, 7a are fit in with holding edges 15, 15a. When the four-core cable 25 is divided into the two-core cables, an outer package for the four-core cable 25 is applied to each of the two-core cables 26, 26a. This waterproof cover is fixed to a wall, etc., of a building with an adhesive, with the four-core cable 25 being connected to a T-NCU side and the divided two-core cables 26, 26a being connected to a telephone and a protector respectively.</p> |
