<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-resistant device for grand piano capable of surely preventing the breakage of legs in the event of an earthquake. SOLUTION: This earthquake-resistant device for a grand piano having a piano body 4 and plural legs 5, 5, 5 extending downward from the piano body. The earthquake-resistant device is composed of a sleigh-like member 3 which has a strut 7 existing in the centroid G of the grand piano fixed at its top end to the rear surface of the piano body 4 and a base plate 8 freely slidably placed on a floor surface F and supports the piano body 4 in the state of floating with the plural legs 5, 5, 5 from the floor surface F.</p> |
