<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent explosion at high temp. by bringing the surface of a mat essentially consisting of a wood reinforcing material and a hydraulic inorg. powder into contact with an acid soln. and then ageing them. SOLUTION: The raw mixture is obtd. by mixing 100 pts.wt. hydraulic inorg. powder, 1-15 pts.wt. wood reinforcing material, and, if necessary, org. or inorg. fiber, aggregate hardening accelerating agent, and water repelling agent. Then, water is mixed with the raw mixture to obtain a slurry having 25-35wt.% water content. The slurry is sprayed in a die frame to obtain a semi-dry mat, which is first hardened at 50-80 deg.C for 7-15 hours to obtain a mat. Then, a soln. of org. acid or inorg. acid having 0.5-1.5g/dl concn. is applied on the surface of the mat to obtain 800-2000g/m<2> coating amt. The mat is then aged under normal pressure at 50-60 deg.C for 1 to 7 days.</p> |
