PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adhere a tooth crown-restorative material made of crystallized glass of calcium phosphate to a tooth for an extended period of time using an adhesive of high adhesion containing a specific methacrylate polymerizable monomer. SOLUTION: When a tooth crown-restorative material comprising a crystallized glass of calcium phosphate with a Ca/P ratio of 0.2-1.7 is adhered to a tooth or bridge retainer with an adhesive, an adhesive containing a methacrylate polymerizable monomer bearing a group of formula I or formula II is used. Particularly, it is recommended that, after the restorative material is previously treated with an alkaline substance, said adhesive is used to effect adhesion. As a methacrylate polymerizable monomer bearing a group of formula I or formula II, the compounds of formulas III, IV and V are preferably used. The use of said adhesive inhibits destruction of the crystallized glass of calcium phosphate whereby the restored tooth can be used for a prolonged period without omission and breakage.
|
