PRODUCTION OF ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively determine conditions in kneading operation for obtaining a satisfactory dispersed state when a toner is produced. SOLUTION: A toner compsn. contg. at least a bonding resin, a colorant and a releasing agent is dissolved in a solvent in which at least the bonding resin is soluble but the colorant is insoluble and the light transmissivity of the resultant suspension at a prescribed wavelength is measured. The dispersed state of the colorant is estimated from the measured value.
