PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a photographic film low in generation of film scrap. SOLUTION: The end surfaced and angle part being cut with a polishing plate 78 of an end surface polishing device 74 of a web polishing part 47 and a polishing blade 80 of an angle part polishing device 75 are polished respectively to smooth in mid-way of transporting a web 67 being cut in the width of the photographic film from a web, whose width is large, toward a film rolling in stage from a web supply part 46. The web scrap generated at the time of polishing is brushed off by brush rollers 87 and 88 inside a web scrap removing part and discharged to the outside of a casing 84 by an air flow by an intake pipe 90 and a discharge pipe 91. Not removed web scrap is blown off by spraying a high speed air by air nozzles 93 and 94 and discharged through air ducts 95 and 96.
