PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an amplification factor constant, and restrain distortion of a waveform, by synthesizing the other optical signal branched by a branching means and an inverted optical signal, and outputting a first synthesized optical signal of constant optical intensity. SOLUTION: One optical signal Si1 (wavelengthλ1 ) which is branched is combined with a control optical signal Sc (wavelengthλ2 ) which is outputted from a control light source 5 and has constant optical intensity, and is guided to an inverted optical signal generating circuit 3, as a synthesized optical signal Sg1, which is guided to an erbium added fiber 12 through an optical isolator 11. The synthesized optical signal Sg1 passes the erbium added fiber 12, thereby being amplified. Through a wavelength multiple synthesis branch apparatus 14, the amplified synthesized optical signal Sg1' is guided to an optical filter 15, and only the optical signal of wavelengthλ2 is transmitted by the filtering effect of the optical filter 15. |
