PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a sheet refeedable without entailing any enlargement of a device and a steep rise in product price by installing a refeeding conveyor passage guiding the sheet in an interval between a sheet loading means and a feeding means after being branched off from the conveyor passage. SOLUTION: Sheets S to be separated and fed by a feed roller 42 feeding these sheets S in a paper feed cassette 30 piece by piece and a separate claw 34 pass through a conveyor route composed of a conveyor means consisting of many rollers 2c, 2d, 2e and so on. Subsequently an image is formed in an image forming part 4 and, after being fixed by a fixing means 6, each sheet S is guided into space between the paper feed cassette 30 and the feed roller 42 via four refeeding conveyor passages A, B, C and D. Then, the sheet S to be formed with an image on one side surface passes through the conveyor passage, and the image is formed on the other side being not yet formed with the image at the image forming part 4. In this connection, a refeeder 10 performs the changeover of a flapper 9 automatically, and it is equipped with an automatic selector means 11 selecting the sheet conveying direction (face- down carry-out passage/refeeding carry-out passage). |
