The hydraulic ship driver drives a screw at a rear end of the ship and makes the screw liftable so that it can simplify the structure and make a maintenance easy. The driver comprises an oil tank(5) storing oil operated as a hydraulic power medium; pumps(P1,P2) transmitting the oil to each operation unit(01,02,03); the operation units(01,02,03) operating the oil through oil pipes; a cooler(6) cooling the oil; a hydraulic cylinder(12) installed at a screwed rod(16) protruded both sides of rear upper part of a hydraulic motor case(31); the screw(34) driven by rotating or counterrotating a hydraulic motor(M).
