Method of generating correction values for user of satellite navigation system

The method involves using at least five monitoring stations which are synchronised wrt. time and whose positions are known. Signals from receivable satellites are received in all receiver stations and correction values for the user and satellite positions are derived from the known receiver station positions. The signals are also received by the user. The derived positions are compared with positions indicated by the satellites and an error range determined for the comparisons. For satellites whose indicated positions lie outside the error range an identifier is transmitted to the user.
