<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the defects in prior art and make the characteristic of luminous flux, emitted from a lighting device, easily changeable in a wide range by the desired motion of individual reflecting elements of a direction changing device. SOLUTION: A lighting system for a vehicle has at least one light source 10 and a reflector 12, and light emitted from at least one light source is reflected by the reflector 12. The lighting system also has a reflectible direction changing device 18 disposed in the optical path of light reflected from at least one light source 10, and the light irradiating the direction changing device 18 can be reflected by the direction changing device 18 in such a way as to form luminous flux to be emitted from the lighting system. The direction changing device 18 has a large number of individual reflectible elements, and the reflectible elements are movable between at least two prescribed positions independently of one another.</p> |
