PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photopolymerizable compsn. for a color filter having high sensitivity without forming an oxygen-shielding layer by specifying a radical producing agent and a sensitizer in a photopolymn. initiator system. SOLUTION: In this photopolymerizable compsn. for a color filter, the photopolymn. initiator system contains a titanocene compd. as a radical producing agent and a compd. expressed by formula as a sensitizer. The coloring material is included by >=40wt.% of the whole solid content of the photopolymerizable compsn. In formula, R<1> -R<4> are 1-10C alkyl groups which may have substituents, R<5> -R<8> are hydrogen atoms or 1-10C alkyl groups, and R<1> and R<5> , R<2> and R<6> , R<3> and R<7> or R<4> and R<8> may be directly bonded or bonded with a sulfur atom or oxygen atom to form rings.
